To economically develop Yoruba race by eliminating absolute poverty through cooperative investment YIF has created a novel Economic Empowerment Project. The vision of this project is to establish the best trustworthy cooperative economic structure that will enrich stakeholders and create jobs for present and future Yoruba generations with self worth, minds free of corruption, greed and self-centeredness.

In order to begin crusade and holy journey to a greater height of no return, the first formal program on our agenda after launching in March 2013 is to begin to appreciations towards our past heroes, heroines and legends that had and are still making the race proud. In the light of the forgoing, the names of under itemized past heroes, heroines and legends have been have been shortlisted for this purpose. The requirement and final selection reflects the Geographical spread to cover all of the LOBO States including Kwara, and Kogi states that by victim of colonial decision, made part of the Northern Hemisphere.

It is of high time we unit regardless of where we were born, how much money or wealth we have acquired. lt is time we unite no matter which organization we belong to or our status in our various communities , field of endeavor, education, social status, and political affiliate, religion, illiterate or literate. We are one under God indivisible and of the same ancestral creed in the name of Oduduwa. “The tree of success is shedding its green leaves in our backyard. We are wondering why because a tree will not shed its leaves unless they are dry. We are wondering why but we do not know that the tree does not have roots anymore.”
